What is a mock interview?

A mock interview is a training exercise that simulates a job interview. In other words, it is a practice interview which, as far as possible, resembles a real interview.

 

What is the purpose of a simulated interview in English?

A mock interview helps candidates gain confidence by giving them the opportunity to reflect on their verbal and non-verbal communication skills. It also gives candidates the opportunity to make mistakes and correct them in a safe atmosphere. In addition, candidates' problem-solving skills are enhanced by instant feedback, which will help them to present their ideas more effectively.
